In 2003, the Filipino Entrepreneurs' Resources Network, was started by a group of successful Filipino businessmen who shared a dream of alleviating poverty through entrepreneurship. At first, the company sold apparel and other merchandise through the binary method of marketing.
In 2004, FERN-C, a potent, high quality non-acidic Vitamin C supplement from DSM Switzerland was launched. The product soon gained increase popularity and triggered an instant demand. The product catapulted the company into the billion-peso business it is today. In less than 3 years after its inception, FERN-C became the leading Vitamin C in the Philippines.
In 2006, Mr. Tommanny Tan, a successful entrepreneur himself become FERN Inc.'s President and CEO. Under his guidance and leadership, the company soared inmeasurable heights.
In 2007, FERN-C was granted the Quali-C logo which assures consumers of its quality, reliability and traceability. Also, in this year, FERN-C became Halal Approved making it fit for consumption based on Islamic standards.
Technological innovations were also the highlight of this year as SMS registration and liquidation made it easier for distributors to do business, while the ATM pay-out system was implemented. The FERN Training Center (Shaw) opens its doors giving its members a place to train and learn how to do the business.
In 2008, because of its strong network and the performane of FERN-C in the market, FERN officially hits its first billion-peso mark in 2008. FERN Slim, an innovative weight management product was launched.
Celebrities Anne Curtis and Angelica Panganiban became FERN Slim endorsers.
Also in this year, the Network Development Program (NDP) was implemented to help train the network valuable networking skills.
In 2009, as a recognition to its world class quality, FERN-C was given the Superbrands Award. In 2009, FERN-C was also chosen as the Official Vitamin of the PBA.
2009 made history when the NDP Leader's Summit held in Baguio City was flocked by more than 500 members. FERN Sheridan warehouse opens.
In 2010, saw the release of two groundbreaking products: FERN Coffee and FERN I-Flex.
Also in 2010, FERN-C FERNStastics join the Philippine Basketball League (PBL).
The FERN, Inc. Corporate Center in Ortigas opens. The venue became FERN's headquarters.
In 2011, the FERN Network Support Center was made accessible to the public in 2011.
FERN became featured in Entrepreneurship Magazine. By this year, FERN has exceeded the million-mark in terms of number of members.
- As part of FERN's corporate SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES, the company supports the nation's fight against Dengue and donates FERN-C to DOH to strengthen victims of the disease.
- FERN INC. supports Gawad Kalinga (GK)'s Bayan Anihan to support the fight against hunger. FERN employees helped in setting up farms that will augment the needs of the GK residents in Zambales.
- FERN donated more than a Million pesos during the onslaught of Ondoy and other devastating typhoons that hit the country.
